A Woman of Steel tells the story of Valentina Villalba. Bereaved by the loss of both parents, Valentina inherits her family's fortune and is joined by her cousin Ivana and Aunt Isabel to live in her Mexico City home. Unbeknownst to her, Ivana harbors a deep resentment and jealousy for Valentina. Ivana begins an affair with Valentina's fiancé Alonso, and they conspire to harm Valentina and take over her fortune. On their wedding day, Alonso leaves Valentina at the altar to runaway with Ivana. Valentina, hurt and humiliated escapes to her country villa where she meets wealthy landowner, Jose Miguel. Will she find love again?
